Monthly Service Terms:
Pure Connect GPS Fleet Management products and services are billed on a month-to-month service charge. No annual contracts are required. First month of service will be billed on the first order during the 30 day trial period. Thereafter, monthly service will continue to be billed on the billing cycle date. Monthly service is billed on a Net 30 billing cycle. Service can be canceled at any time by calling Pure Connect at 888-344-2555 or emailing: email@example.com. Monthly service charges during the 30 day trial period and/or ongoing monthly service charges will not be refunded through the final bill cycle date after cancellation.
Charges and Fees:
Each original order will include equipment cost, first month service charges and activation fee. Fees are subject to change at any time. Customer billing cycle is based upon the first order /shipment date unless notified otherwise. Each month the authorized credit card on file will be billed for monthly service (if set up on automatic monthly payments) or a check will be processed for the amount due indicated on your invoice. A monthly invoice will also be emailed to all company authorized contacts. Shipping fees may be included in initial equipment orders if overnight or priority shipping is required.
Professional installation may be required if a customer chooses to install hardwired/ semi-permanent devices. In the event that a customer requests assistance by hiring a contracted installer, installation fees and warranties will be managed between the Installer (Contractor) , or retail location and customer. Professional Wired Installation costs are non-refundable at any time. Customers can continue ongoing work with installation contractors at any time to remove devices or replace devices. All costs associated will be the customer’s responsibility. Pure Connect GPS will not be liable for damage or costs resulting from vehicle or electronic damage using the standard plugin tracking device, Y-splitter cable installation, hardwired device installation, Video Telematics devices, Smart Witness devices, VidFleet Devices, and/or improper installation of devices or electronic accessories and components by a third party, installation company or contracted installer.
Wireless / Satellite Services and Users:
The Software used in tracking vehicles and equipment is monitored by satellites and wireless/cellular networks. Pure Connect GPS will not be held liable for network outages, cell phone tower outages, mapping software integration outages, network updates or upgrades including requiring customers to purchase new equipment for compatibility with network upgrades such as 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G network upgrade requirements. Pure Connect GPS will not be held liable for delays or changes to service by the cellular networks such as 3G sunset rules, Turning off network coverage or towers by AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-mobile and other local carriers, or Satellite latency and/or cellular latency that results in network performance issues or delayed services. Pure Connect GPS will make every effort to resolve and retrieve all data transmissions through the software platform in a timely manner. Customers will not hold Pure Connect GPS liable for any outages, lost data or delays through its software platform. Pure Connect GPS will not be held liable for any catastrophic events, natural disasters, acts of God, Network or power outage events that cause delay or outage to its GPS Fleet Tracking software program. Pure Connect GPS will not be liable for any customers’ employees, contractors, partners, affiliates or users that have been given access to the customers GPS website or system or have been added or removed from the GPS system or for their past, present or future fraudulent or criminal behavior or actions while using the customers GPS website. Customers are responsible for any and all activity, resulting from access that they give their partners, assignees, affiliates, contractors or any authorized users in their company.
Customer Ongoing Device Management and Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for managing their account, device installations and device counts, service and auditing their list of devices and services as well as notifying our billing department of changes to their account, moving or replacing devices, turning devices off or pausing service (Seasonal Pause). Pure Connect will not be liable or responsible for crediting customer account charges for devices that have been left idle, actively billing on the account but are shown as “offline” for short or extended durations, including lost equipment, damaged equipment, sold equipment or equipment left in vehicles, or left in vehicles sold in auction, or left in vehicles that are no longer owned by the company or still currently owned by the company.

Payments by credit card
Note: Customers that sign up for “autopay” to their credit card may automatically be billed on the billing cycle date of each month. A 2.9% convenience fee may be applied to each invoice that is paid by Credit Card.
The original card or bank payment information that was used on the original first order will continue to be billed each month for new and existing equipment purchases and monthly service purchases, unless customer notifies Pure Connect GPS accounts receivable with a different requested card payment method by emailing : email@example.com
It is the customer’s responsibility to notify Pure Connect GPS billing department of new payment information and/or to update expired card information to avoid fees and charges associated with managing the card information, customer account and credit card payments. Pure Connect GPS uses Auhorize.net, a secure payment gateway to secure all customer proprietary network information (CPNI) information and card information.
Invoices / Payments by check
Customers that pay by check will receive a recurring invoice to their email on their billing cycle of every month indicating their monthly service charges which must be paid by the due date to avoid late fees. (Net 30 payment terms for invoiced clients)
Equipment terms and Warranties:
Equipment is billed at the time of purchase including monthly service fees and a one-time activation fee per device order. All GPS tracking devices include a 1 year equipment warranty (not including accessories such as wiring harnesses, cradles and batteries etc). Equipment will also include a 30 day trial and 30 day return policy from the time of received shipment with a full equipment refund but not including shipping to or from customer place of business and/or installing or uninstalling devices and fees associated with installation and uninstallation. Activation fees are non-refundable. Equipment must be returned within 30 days of delivery date, properly working, intact and not damaged. If equipment is satisfactory, full refunds for equipment will be issued to the customer for equipment costs. Monthly service charges and any other fees will not be refunded. If equipment is physically damaged including but not limited to (Water, dirt, broken housing, corrosion, scratched, serial labels removed, written on or marked up), customers may not receive a refund for that equipment. After inspection, if the equipment is not working because of faulty equipment by the manufacturer (under warranty) then the customer will receive a full refund for the device(s).
Included Device Program:
All GPS tracking devices ordered under the IDP (Included Device Program), including asset tracking, hardwired tracking and video telematics cameras, are considered owned by Pure Connect GPS until 36 months after the order date. IDP program refers to a “lease” program and equipment must be returned within 30 days after service is stopped or canceled, if within the 36 month period. Customer agrees to pay the full amount of the equipment's full retail replacement value if equipment is not returned on time, or, returned broken, damaged and unusable including water damage, corrosion or physical cracking to the housing. The Title of equipment will remain the property of Pure Connect GPS. Monthly service must remain active for the customer lifecycle. Devices will not be put on “seasonal pause”. Equipment to be returned to Pure Connect GPS within 30 days of deactivation. Should equipment not be returned the following non-returned equipment fee will apply: $100 Fleet and Asset tracking device return fee. VidFleet Cameras : Less than 12 months usage equals $250 fee and greater than 12 months usage =$125 return fee.
Pure Connect GPS will not be responsible for any damage to customer’s equipment, assets, vehicles, or any other machine or device in which a Pure Connect GPS, VidFleet, CalAmp, Smartwitness, GeoMetris or any other tracking device was installed, for any purpose including but not limited to tracking, monitoring, and gathering data from the vehicle, or equipment that it was installed in.
